LESLIE G. HICKEY, CPA

After graduating from Georgetown University, Leslie joined Ernst & Young in their audit department serving clients in financial services, local government and the not for profit sectors as well as manufacturing clients in the UK during a nine month secondment.  Leslie left E&Y as an audit manager to  accept a position at GE Capital Vendor Financial Services in their Business Controls Unit, a quick response team charged with integrating acquisitions and implementing internal control improvements.  She moved on to GE Capital Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis where she developed and rolled out productivity measurements to the 27 GE Capital businesses and developed and analyzed their $80MM corporate budget.   She then became a Vice President at Universal American Financial Corp where she worked on acquisitions and corporate and SEC reporting.   Next she  specialized in expense analysis and SEC reporting in the Corporate Controllers Group at MBIA Insurance Corp.  She left MBIA and joined Moskowitz and Associates, CPAs P.C.  She performed a full suite of outsourced CFO/Controller roles for venture capital, private equity and fund of fund clients with investor commitments from $35MM to $600MM.   She also prepared partnership and individual tax returns for high net worth individuals which included tracking tax basis for their partnership investments.
